Averaging a Time of Day field

My retail store customer wants to track the time of the last sale each day.  The Transactions table has both Date and Time fields.
I have an aggregate query that returns the time of the last sale for each day (using the "Last" parameter in the Time field).
On my report, I want to take an average of last transaction times in the Footer but it's not happening.  Avg([LastofTransTime]) does not work.
Any ideas.  I have a feeling that I'm going to be embarrassed when I found out how simple it is!!

Make sure your calculated field is in the Report Footer, not the Page Footer.

Yes, it is in the Report Footer. I'm sending an image of the query.
