I have a customer who needs me to build him a multi-field search form for his Access database. Plus, I get asked how to do this ALL the time. Now, I've covered SEARCHING in bits and pieces throughout my Access classes, but I figured this is a great opportunity to expand on it in detail and show a variety of methods for searching for data in your Access tables.

I plan to cover:

- Basic Find and Replace
- Filters
- DLOOKUP
- Single-Field quick search
- Multi-Field search with query parameters (Forms!FormName!Field)
- Multi-Field Dynamic SQL Search (the biggy)

I'll make sure I include text search, AND/OR options, different where conditions, ordering/sorting results, all field types (>a number, between two dates, booleans, etc.)

Here's my question FOR YOU... is there anything that you can think of that I'm missing? Is there any kind of a custom search that YOU need to perform that you can't figure out how to do? If so, let me know and I'll do my best to throw it in this seminar. Post your ideas here.

Now, I'm real busy working on Excel 2010 videos this month, so I'm going to squeeze this seminar in on my spare time (there's only so much Excel I can take at once). I might not finish it right away, but I do want to have it for my client by the end of the month as well.
