I am using a relational combo box. I select the Company name from the combo box. In the Control Source, I assigned the field to CompanyName. When I save the record it does not put the Company Name on the record put a numeric number. This must be an index number.
What do I need to do to get the Company Name value in the CompanyName field?

Did you hide the key column when you made the combo box? Column Width for the first column is 0"?

Yes, I hide the key. My column width is 0";2.2396. Not sure why it does not work.

And your row source is selecting the ID field first, the company name second right? What is your bound column?

I changed the bound column to 2 and it worked. Thank you.
