I have a form called BillF it has textboxes called AmountDue and SharedAmount which are linked to the BillT I would like it to check wether a field in the PayeeT Called Shared = true, if it equals true I want it to take the amountdue on the form and multiply it by .50 and stored that in amountdue in the BillT. Amountdue could be on a form that is dirty and not saved yet to the BillT. I don't know where I would make this happen and when I reopen the form for it not to do anything if the shared amount has already been calculated.

I'm a little foggy as to exactly what you've got going on there. How do you know which record to look up the value of Shared from in your PayeeT? You probably need a DLOOKUP and an AfterUpdate event somwehere, but I can't tell you exactly where without more info.
