Looking for a suggestion on how to approach this. I have a table that contains the names of all the chemicals we use to work on Aircraft. Now here's my problem. The chemicals are more referred to by their nick names, rather their chemical names. EX: zinc chromate tape better known as as elephant snot. I would like to have 2 tables 1 with my chemical information and another with the alias. I want to be able to type in the alias or chemical name and have it pull the correct data. Any suggestions on how to go about this. Seems my mind went on vacation this week and left me a little perplexed.  Thanks

Why do you need two tables? Why not just add a Nickname field to the Chemicals table?
