I am working on a database that uses a document ID of a 3 digit value that corresponds to the day of the year and 2 digit year the authors initials and a number for the document authored for the day.  Example: 00122XX1, would be 01/01/22 authored by XX and the first document of the day.  00122XX2 would be the second document of the day.  When the form is opened for a new entry, the currant day auto filled.  I created a table that has the date in one column and the day of the year in the adjacent column.  I would like to have a field for "Today is Day #", to make it easier for people.  Is this possible?  I have inherited this database, and in the coming months I will be converting to Auto Numbering the way it should have been set up originally.
