I keep receiving validation errors in one of my forms for new customers for email addresses. (I copied the Microsoft (MS) Validation script from the MS website and put it in the table properties for each of my email addresses. However, in this case, thee two fields causing the validation errors ARE NOT EVEN USED IN MY FORM! The two email fields causing the errors are also not in the form's underlying query (the form's record source).  
The only way I can add new records via this form is by deleting the validation rules for the two fields NOT/NOT used in the form.  Meanwhile, ironically, the same exact rule works for the email addresses that ARE/ARE in my form.  
What's going on?  Is this a known bug with Access?  
The MS validation rule for all my email address fields is off the MS website, which is:
Is Null Or ((Like "*?@?*.?*") And (Not Like "*[ ,;]*"))
Please advise.
