I partly solved the problem. I restored my computer to 30/01/2011 and now it works just fine. I tried on another PC (earlier) and it was working OK.

I don't want to think that this is a solution. On several occassions today, My Access program was hanging several times and i kept using the Task Manager end the Task and then clicking the Send Error report. Could this be the cause? Why was it hanging? I noticed that it was happening each time i exported my data to Excel (i use DoCmd.OutputTo), and i chose that the Excel sheet opens automatically after exporting the data. Surprisingly, nothing would appear to happen and the database would continue to run normally until is when i choose to QUIT. This is when it would hang. Why is this so?

Very strange indeed, but this could be a bigger problem with your PC or network than just your database. When in doubt, reboot. If it still doesn't work, call tech support. :)
