PDF to Image

I need a way to convert a PDF to an Image using VBA. Our designers export their drawings as PDF, other formats arent an option with the particular software. I need to show the drawing in a Report print off. I can display the PDF using the browser in a form but I cant do this in a Report. Is it asking too much to convert a PDF to any format that can be printed?

Note: They'll only ever be 1 page PDFs no need to deal with multiple pages.

Do you have a paid copy of Adobe?
There are some COM plugins you can use but not sure how much experience the forum has with them.

MS Forum - takes a PDF and puts the images into shapes as an OLE object then saves.

They use a CAD software called KaseMake which exports the drawing as a PDF. We don't have a paid for version of Adobe but we'd need to have that installed on every PC wouldn't we? The designers are the definition of lazy so unless it is fully automated it won't get done. I'll have a look at the bottom link. Thanks Alex.

A quick Google search shows there are a lot of PDF to JPG conversion utilities out there. Find one that supports command line parameters, then you can just use ShellEx to run it, save the JPG, link to it from Access as a Image and include it in your reports.
