Requery Problem

I set a drop down combo box where if a customer's name is not on the list, it opens up a form where I add the cutomer to the list.  once it closes, it like it to requery the customer table. and go back to where was in the dropdown combo and put in the customer name.  How do you do that?

Use DMax to get the last CustomerID in the table and set your Combo Box to that ID.

What my problem is, when the Contact form pops up and I enter the data, into it, I want it to on close event requery/refresh the ContactCombo box on the intial form (Which was what prompted the Contact form for not being on the list).  Curently I have to close that form also and reopen it so the combo will requery.  I tried Forms!CompanyF!ContactSubForm!ContactCombo.Requery...doesn't seem to work

If the Combo Box is in a Subform you need to specify .Form:

Forms!CompanyF!ContactSubForm.Form!ContactCombo.Requery

Have you reviewed Relational Combo? - https://599cd.com/blog/display-article.asp?ID=1752
Don't forget to check out the Ext. Cut which, as a silver member, you have access to.
