how to return all records if parameter is null in access

What are you trying to do? You can give null values a value to display with NZ Function.

But there is probably an easier way, I just don't understand the question. Are you doing a query and want null values to return in it? They should, unless you have a relationship that says table 1 must match record in table 2 in the query, in which case you may just be able to change it to an outer join and get all your records.

Yes, you can use Application.ExportXML

I have tried it, it requires other arguments otherwise it does not produce the expected results

Yes, you need to add those arguments. For example:

Application.ExportXML acExportTable, "CustomerT", CurrentProject.Path & "\Customers.xml"

The next argument is if you want the Schema Data exported to a separate XML file.

Did you put in the other arguments? It still doesn't work?

Application.ExportXML acExportQuery, "TableName", "C:\Filename.xml"
