Date when an item is entered

Hello again,
Got kind of a silly question. is there a timestamp on an item when it is inserted into the Access database? example a client is added to the client table then the name was changed. is there a way to know when the name was changed?

Not unless you set up a field and specifically tell Access to do so.

Note that you can also set a default date -  DATE()   or date & time -  NOW()    for new records .
You would still need to have the field(s) to accept the data.
