Eddie, you say that "we have code on the front-end that will modify the backend tables as necessary".  Can you give an example of that code?  Or Richard, can you do a training on how to modify table structures in code?

Yes, I've written code too that can modify the STRUCTURE of your database. I used to support a program (an insurance database) that we had to ship regular updates for. Anytime we had to add a field to a table, the database would have to manipulate the structure of the back-end (tables) database to add the field. If there's enough interest, I can share that with the class. :)
