Hi everyone

I'm stuck again, as some may know I am a newbie making his first database. So I'm really sorry if this sounds as stupid as a question or if I've just mugged myself off.

I've got my main customer form made with the two subforms all working together from the different tables displaying the data I need. So I moved on to the search form and I built the original unbound text box from Richards's first video as I would like to search for data from a form and not from inside the database would work better for me.
As to be expected it all works using the query and the fields I've set up but I can't seem to do anything with the results. I get the data displayed in a table view from the query. I would like from to double-click or select that record with a button to load it into my main form. But looking around with basic knowledge I'm not sure I can adapt or display query data in a form. So I've probably miss understood this or trying to be too clever for my own good.

I'm wondering is there a different way to search without using unbound text boxes for the data? or do I need some sort of code to make this work? But unfortunately, this now leads to another question In my database, I will have a few bits of doubled-up data (not from me but from mistakes from staff previously) So if I have two options from the search, how can select which one I want if I cant click on it to run an event or similar function.

Sorry for the long question but couldn't really explain another way. Any advice would be greatly received.
