Open camera from within Access

I keep getting asked for the ability to click a button on a form inside of Access that will open the system camera (Windows Surface laptops being used in the field), take a picture, save it and associate it with the record that's open on the form. I find a lot of deprecated methods for doing this online. Nothing for Office 2019 or 365.

I don't recall any of the TechHelp or courses dealing with cameras. Not a camera but you might check out Barcode Scanning as well as Developer 27. Also search for the Images / Imaging videos as to how to set up your db to properly accept and store file names. Links provided on request.

I didn't put it in the Templates because I can't get it to work reliably on a variety of machines. Half the people who downloaded it said it didn't work for them. It doesn't even work on every one of MY machines. So...????

Could add a In Progress Section with a massive disclaimer, not like you're charging for it.
