Multiple tables in a report
Gerald

How do I used more than one table or query in a report? The information I want to use in my report happens to be on more than one object in Access 2007. When I try to use more than one table I get error messages and if the queries do not have a relationship I get an error message. I was think I could grab fields from anywhere is Access and build reports.

Reply from Richard Rost:

If the data is related somehow (like customers and orders) then you can join them together using a query, linked on the related field. If the data is NOT in any way related (like customers and vendors) then you can still bring them together in a report using subreports, but I would question WHY you would need to do this instead of just making 2 separate reports. Can you give us an example of what you're trying to do?
