Hyperlink Issue

Sup all,

I am trying to open files with a button on one of my forms with a path created from a record. I tried to make it as a hyperlink but got a security popup and then said the file does not exist.

Tried shell with the same path and still getting file does not exist.

I past the path into Explorer and the file opens in with its program.

Any one have any ideas ?

I would store the path as Short Text. Hyperlinks

I got it to work, turns out i had the wrong syntax " instead of ( type thing. Now the issues i have is: The link is a pdf and so reader opens but then closes 10 seconds later.. on my computer it stays open but on my work mates computer it opens for about 10 seconds then closes. Pulling hair out

Try re-installing the latest version of Adobe reader (Assuming that's your default reader, if not, set it!) also try changing your default PDF reader to something else to see if the issue is with the program
