It looks like your subform isn't linked to your mainform and is making orphaned records.

Check to make sure this is still setup right

Adam I went to Main Form and took pic of Properties, then while in main form double clicked to show prop of SF, then highlighted subform in main form to show the linked properties. i think its linked?

I do have one question. if i had to change properties, that only fixes mine and not the front ends ive already distributed correct? so i would need to fix and resend front ends to staff?

Correct, if you change something it only changes your local copy. You have to send it out still, I suppose the next step if it's not fixed is to set a default value for the OrderID field in the subform so it gets a value from the main form when you create a new record.

So in the orderID of the subform field you would set the default value to Forms!ParentFormName!OrderID
