Hi Rick, I just got off my rear and decided to incorporate the MyPicture and Documents into my personal db. It works well however i do have one issue. When I take a photo with my iPhone and send it to my desktop to save it, Then I when I then add the photo to my dababase, it puts it in correct file but on form it shows top of photo 90 degrees to left. I have tried many different things but to no resolve. If I take the photo sideways on iPhone with photo button on left it shows up correct side up? Any ideas on this??? Please let me know
That's more of an issue with your phone than with the database. Your phone is incorrectly marking the "top" of the image file. You'll have to rotate them that way. I'm not an iPhone person. Maybe Alex has an answer.
When you open the image in the default photo viewer on the PC is it the correct orientation?

Yeah - I have an iPhone and it stores the orientation in the photo when you down load it to your computer.
The best solution I've found is to edit it in your favorite photo editor and rotate the picture. Then save it.
I use Irfanview (free) and it works real well. If you like it consider registering it (10 Euro via PayPal ) as a thank you. He does fantastic work.

Hi all,
Thanks
The downloaded photo shows fine in viewer and in the folder it is stored in (In db) but on form it is 90 degrees off to left?
I will try again to edit and save the photo. Will let you all know!
Thanks
Dave

Just spitballing here, but is this an issue with the picture size mode? I'd also make sure it isn't tiling (Just above size mode). You might not see it tiling because of the size but have a play with those settings and see if you notice any difference
