concatenation parameter

I have a document that has 5 paragraphs, each containing the same parameter. The parameter is not a field in a table.

Sems like I have to enter the same info 5X. is there a way i can structure the parameter in each paragraph so that I only have to fill in the parameter once?

1. blablablabla "&[Parent's Name]&" blablablablablabla
2. yadayadayadayadayadayada "&[Parent's Name]&"yadayada
3. xxxxxxxxxx "&[Parent's Name]&" xxxxxxxxx

`Dim PN As String PN=Inputbox("Enter Parent's Name")` Then use PN for the parameter. Likewise if this is in a query just make an alias

Parameter Query Variables Watch your quotes and spacing also xxxxxxxxxx "&[Parent's Name]&" xxxxxxxxx Should be "xxxxxxxxxx " & [Parent's Name] & " xxxxxxxxx" If you want to test it you can always use a query or set the string to a variable and MsgBox it or send it to a StatusBox.
