New Record Disabled

I have a form in my DB that is not allowing new records? The form is built off a query.
I have a button on the form to allow access to related info that is built off a separate table. Everything was working correctly yesterday?  The only thing I did last night was some minor format changes on the related form.   Any suggestions on what may have occurred?

Can you still edit records?

I was going to suggest Not Updateable

Yes we can edit the records, we just can't add new via the form, the +new is greyed out.

Are you able to add records when you run the query?

The .accdb file may be damaged.  Create a new .accdb file and import all your tables, forms, queries, etc. to it.

Just had a thought. What is the Recordset Type set to? It should be Dynaset.

Where would I check Recordset Type?

On the Data Tab in the Form Properties. If you can't add a new record in the query it is unlikely to be the problem. There is, however, a Recordset Type property in Queries as well.

Thank you for your help, I had a back up copy from yesterday morning, so reverted to it. You must have been right that the file was corrupted.
