Is there a way to connect an Access db with Outlook in such a way that changes to a contact name in one, automatically updates that record in the other? I haven't been able to find a way to uniquely identify an Outlook record.

You can go to External Data > Link Tables, pick Outlook as the data type, then choose your Contacts folder. This will create a link to your Outlook Contacts (as a linked table). However, as far as I can tell, there's no ID field or any other way to uniquely identify each contact other than one of YOUR user fields (email, phone number, etc.)

It's been a while since I've done any integration with Outlook, but I believe there is a better way using VBA Automation to connect to your Outlook contacts. I've been thinking about creating a seminar on the topic. I'll have to research it for you.
