Remove extra records by cust

I have a process that with Office 365 no longer allows my company to upload to a SharePoint list and therefore we began using Access.  Occasionally, records will upload multiple times, sometimes 3 or 4 times, I assume due to connection issues.  I can identify which items were duplicated, however I would like to get a list of all the extra, not original, items loaded so they can be easily deleted.  I have tried using DMax but it only gives the latest not the latest per 'customer'.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you. Unfortunately I don't have control over the SharePoint (which is where my lists are) so the prevention I can't do, but the highlight definitely helps. From there it gives me a list of all the duplicate items, just is there a way to now filter or groups by or something that allows me to only see the 2nd, 3rd etc iteration and not the first?

See this thread: Deleting Duplicates.

Remember to BACKUP your database before doing anything that involves deleting data/records.

Thank you very much Kevin. Using the recordset and VBA code you included a screen shot of in that post I was able to get at least a quick base button to assist my team. This will help a lot with these random duplicate items being loaded to the SharePoint.

Maybe a dateTime field when record is added

Just a thought but I would be more concerned right now about why random duplicate records are being created. Until you correct the program and achieve good reliable data you are just chasing your shadow.

I would add a field so that as you find them you can mark them as a dupe.  And don't display the dupes.

By keeping them in your data for a bit it may help you track down when / why the bad records are getting created.
If you flat out delete them you may never discover what the cause is.
