I have a form with a subform. In the subform is a checkbox that identifies which records will be appended to a new table. Currently, when I exit the form and come back in, the boxes are still checked. How can I clear the checkboxes on the subform on exit.

A simple update query should do the trick. Make an update query that changes those checkbox values to FALSE. Now in the OnClose event for your main form, run that query (docmd.openquery). In my new SQL SEMINAR PART 2, I show you how to do it with one line of code:

DoCmd.RunSQL "UPDATE MyTableT SET MyCheckBoxValue = FALSE"

That's all you'd need to do. :)
