Help! I cannot update my records anymore. I get the following message: You cannot update this field because the value you are trying to apply is not valid or would break a data integrity rule. Please correct and try again.

Does anyone know where I need to look for the problem.
Also, why does my database, that is on sharepoint, keep making additional tables? I have the customer table, customer1 table and on and on. And if I relink, which would I relink to?

You say "anymore". We need way more detail. What changes did you make recently? Please provide a screen shot of the error. That probably indicates where the error is. I'm guessing you are probably trying to add an ID that already exists but I'd just be guessing. Also please describe what you are trying to do in detail.

Check Referential Integrity. Have you enabled it recently?

Dan, I was thinking it was due to not having referential integrity on because I had deleted a couple of records from the main form that had linked records on a subform. I tried to set up referential integrity but got an error message: Relationship must be on the same number of fields with the same data types. I couldn't figure out what that meant. Any idea?
