Watching you click through the Rick's Tree View my mind went immediately to using it for a menu. I'm re-writing a company database and setting up user roles and want to restrict different levels of users to only certain forms, reports or queries. There may be 5 o 9 different levels of users and each level would have one or more of the menu options for forms, reports or queries. Set it all up on a table the use the array to set up the menu. I'm very much interested in learning more about Rick's Tree View.

It looks like you already have the Access Security Seminar. That should tell you all you would need to know to restrict pieces to different users in any setup. Unless you're more interested in how the tree is built.

Yes, my interest is in how the tree works but I'd use it to make a dynamic menu for each user role. The more familiar I get with it the more places I'd find uses for it.
If you liked that, check out the Task Management Template. I build my own hierarchal outline "tree view" without using the TreeView control (it's a fancy listbox). That plus it has breadcrumb trails and lots more.
