I am really looking foward to the SQl seminar part2.
May i ask you one quick thing... i would like you to try it out if time can allow you. Suppose in WhateverT table, in the FirstName field you set the caption property to Customer Name, can the listbox column head still read [First Name] with the SELECT statement above? Mine cannot. It will show what is in the table and not what i specify with VBA. It seems like the table caption overides any VBA command.

You're right. I never noticed that before because I almost NEVER use the caption property at the table level. It appears to override the ALIAS in the SQL statement. You have two options: 1. Remove the caption from the table. 2. You could create a query based on the table and then set a caption property for that field (right click on the field in design mode, go to caption, and set it there). Then pull that into your form.
