How do i add an arrow on a form
Mubeezi Micah

Dear Richard,

I have to break this silence by asking a question. I hope all is well with you Richard.

I would like to add an arrow to a form to show the direction/steps to follow in order to open a report i.e. the user first selects a report that he/she wants to view from a combobox, then he selects a time period, then selects if he/she would like results grouped by week, month, quarter or year. after this he selects a health facility of his choice. After all this, he clicks OK to view the report.

Where can i find arrows in design view to show the user what to do first, next and last?

Numbering would be OK i would prefer to use arrows.

Best regards,

MICAH

Yes, all is well. Sorry - very busy weekend. There have been posts, but I haven't been on here since last week to APPROVE them. I need to appoint a few of you with ADMIN power to come in and approve posts for me. :)

Now, I'm trying to imagine exactly what you want to do with this. You just want an IMAGE of an ARROW to appear on a single form with multiple items on it, and then have it point to what they need to do next? If that's the case, I would just use an IMAGE of an arrow (Google has millions you can steal... er... I mean borrow). Place one next to each item and make their VISIBLE properties all set to FALSE... except the first one, that you want visible to start.

Now, as the users enter data, use an AfterUpdate event to verify that they entered correct information, and then hide that arrow, and show the next arrow.

Is that what you're looking for?
