I found a way to get a scrolling label.  I created a label inside of a form. I then went to the Property sheet and on the event section went to the timer and put in 200. Then I created an event on the On Timer section which was entered as follows: ScrollL.Caption = Mid(ScrollL.Caption, 2) & Left(ScrollL.Caption, 1). The scrollL was the name of the label and the Caption was the caption of that label. So far so good.  Now I would like to be able to take entries from a table named SayingsT and randomly displaying them in this ticker tape at the bottom of my form rather than displaying the caption. Any ideas?

Marquee Loop

The "Marquee Loop" is very good. Don't know where but I'm going to use it.

The marquee loop is good. However, my question is how do I use it with a table of sayings such that the sayings (2000 of them) come one after the other on the ticker tape.

Use a Recordset Lop to loop through the sayings in your Table.
You can display Random Records if you want to randomize the order they are displayed.
