Display Records Horizontally

I really enjoy your tech help videos!  I've added many nice features to our DB watching them.  Is there a way to display records or a continuous form horizontally?  We have a truck parking business and I'd like our parking agreement to lists all of a customer's (parent form) parking spaces (child form) on horizontal line.  Basically, there would be a line in the agreement that reads for example: "Assigned spaces: 1,2,3".  How would I go about this?

Thanks!

Richard shows something similar in Access Developer 38.

Hi Kimya, I've answered a similar question from at least two other posters in recent weeks.  Basically you need to write a custom function in VBA that go through the child records with a Recordset loop and create a comma-delimited string.  Then you use this function in a query or other VBA code to get the result you desire.  My pictures show an example of this.  Since you've completed the expert video series, this should be a manageable task for you.

Thanks so much for your response!  I actually need to pause my membership because I've yet to watch many of the expert series videos.  Thanks again, I'll check out Access Dev 38.

Kimya, you're a Gold member. My DLookupPlus function does exactly what you need.
