missing in textbox

I am doing the SQL seminar.  In the markup box there is the percentage for the markup.  When I first open the box the default of 20% shows correctly.  However, when I choose one of the products the correct number appears eg. 0.05 or 0.80 but not as a percentage. The table field is formatted as a percentage and the text box has been formatted as a percentage. Why do I not see the percentage?

You can format the Text Box in VBA using the Format Function.

Markup = Format(CategoryCombo.Column(2), "Percent")

Also, it should show % without any VBA though right.  I have done all the correct formatting.

I've also tried On Change, same result.

You have put the code in the wrong place. Should be in the CategoryCombo_AfterUpdate.

Now it worked, thanks.
Any idea why Access was not showing it before while all the formatting was correct?

Not sure. It didn't get the format for me either. Perhaps a bug has crept in since the Seminar was recorded.
The Format Property worked if I hard coded a value, but not when I got the value from the Combo Box.
