I just got done working through the Play Video and Play Video Extended Cut videos. Im building a database that is eventually going to have a large number of MP4, MP3, and JPEG files.

Ive got the forms built to select the file I want to view from a list and play it either internally, externally or through VLC.

The full path and filenames are kept within a table named AVFiles.

Im looking for a code or control or method that would allow me to open file Explorer from within Access, then click on a file and automatically have that files full path and filename pasted into the file name field in the AVFiles table.

This is to save the hassle of typing or copying and pasting the full path and file name for every file that is added to the database and to avoid the inevitable typos that will come with having to type a long line like D:\Kevin\PI\CaseFiles\KCCInv-1\A01-01.mp3

Ive tried to google this, but find Im limited in not knowing how to ask the question to get the result I need.
