Hi Wayne,

There a few options to to log times/people etc.

Richard goes through this in the Access Security Seminar

The blog article mentions a few things too.

Richard points out the following function
Private Declare Function GetUserName Lib "advapi32.dll" Alias "GetUserNameA" (ByVal lpBuffer As String, nSize As Long) As Long

I've used Environ("UserName") or Application.UserName depending on the office program and where I'm using it to log the User.

You could get the Users to log into the database like the Seminar shows and keep a reference to the user that way.

Basically add the fields like Username, RecordCreatedAt, RecordModifiedAt (rename as you wish), and then you will need to add a little vba code in an event or have a default value in the field of the table which will add the value you want like =Date() so when the record is created the value is added along with the rest of the information.
