Cant open copy of my database

I created my database from the workorder seminar many years ago. I made a copy of database but when I open it the login in menu opens but if you enter name and password and click open it doesn't do anything. How can I fix !

Are you running from a trusted folder?

Copied to external drive to take to work but not in a folder. Is that what I need to do? Would it need to be the same name as the folder that I have it on my computer?. Thanks Mary

Opened the copied database went to trusted center and that fixed it! Thank you Richard Rost! your videos are wonderful! If anyone needed a powerful database your WorkOrder Seminar is GREAT!!! Thank you again for such a quick responce! Mary

You're welcome. And I recommend against running your database on an external drive. Transport it that way fine, but copy it to the PCs hard drive to use it.
