This was control source for my textbox:
=DSum("LineCost","MaterialQ","WorkOrderID=" & [WorkOrderID])

What I'm trying to do is add an iffstatement to the control source so that if there is a null value, it will produce a value of 0.

My understanding of an IFF statement is this:

IFF(condition, is met then carry this out,else carry this out)

so here is what I made:

iff(Isnull([MaterialTotal]),0,=DSum("LinePrice","MaterialQ","WorkOrderID=" & [WorkOrderID]))
