Visible Property

Hi Richard, I have followed your tutorial for the visible property and I'm trying to achieve the same result. There is only one line of code to write (Notes.visible = IsActive). I am using your template and cannot achieve to have the notes field disapear when I check the Is Active check box....the notes field is always displaying even if the check box is checked or not....the only difference I see is that I'm using a french version of Access 365.....
Do I have to load a specific set of library or module to have this option working.....I've been struggling with this for the past hours and cannot figure it out!

Did you put the code in the After Update event of the IsActive Check Box?

Yes dit the exact same thing as shown in the video. I don't understand what can cause this not to work. Only one simple line of code to write and using Rick's template because it was not working in my own database.

Not really sure why it's not working for you.

Try writing it like this:
Notes.Visible = IIf(IsActive, True, False)

Does that work for you?

Thanks Kevin, I was able to find the problem. Windows had blocked some of the features of Rick's file. I had to go to file properties and unblocked (D'bloquer) in Windows. Now it is working. Thanks for your help! and by the way the code you wrote also works!
