ReportingTable Based on Form
Joshua Rivera

Hello:

I have a form that I have created for Data Entry with multiple Sub-Forms to collect different sets of data.

I'd like to know how to build a report based on the captured information in the Form (including sub-forms)?

I'd also like to know how to create a Table based on all the fields within the form, when I have multiple sub-forms.

Any direction on how this should be created is much appreciated.

Thank you in advance for any help!

I'm thinking now that I may need to go back to my primary Table and link the junction tables to the Main Table in order to render the report with all the Forms data?

More information to my question:

I have 5 Subforms within my Data Entry form, those Subforms are were created off of a Junction (Example of one of my jJunction Tables: InsuranceCarrierT, InsuranceTypeT and InsuranceCoverageT). I want to be able to build a report, that will tie my Forms information with the other Subforms information, in order to have a listed review.

To build a report based on the form and sub-forms you would need to create a query that pulls all of that into one place. If you want a table, you can also use that same, or a similar query to create a "Make Table" query. Note that the Make Table query doesn't auto update, you would have to re-run the query or have code to do that at a given day/time.

This is the query that I built (I'm obviously doing something wrong, because when I run the Query, no data is represented in the columns.

First of all only use the asterisk (*) from one table. From the other table bring in each of the fields individually.

Thank you for the support.

I went ahead and watched the video which was helpful; however I seem to be running into another issue.

I've created a left join from CaseFileT to CarrierSettlementT and when I run that Query I only get Datat from the CaseFileT to present, there are no values presented for the other Data Points in CarrierSettlementT.

Now when I do the reverse and do a Right Join, the values from the CarrierSettlementT present but no data/values from the CaseFileT.

Here are some pictures to reference:

The first Query is represented in the 2nd Run results, and the 2nd query is related to the first run results. Sorry, the photo order is swapped.
