Too many records showing
Tom Murphy

I have an Access form that links to two tables.  One is my Donors table (Not for Profit Organization) and the other is the Donations table.

The Donors table has one recored for everyone who has donated to us.  The Donations table shows each and every donation they have made back to our formation. Each donor can have many donations obviously

Until recently (when I obviously screwed something up) the Form would show some 800 records... one per Donor.  But after some messing around it show some 2599 records.

I have determined that it shows one record for each of the donations Mr. Smith has given.  So if he donated 6 times, there are 6 records shown, if he donated 10 times, there are 10 records shown.

Anyone have a clue as to what I may have done wrong.. either added or deleted from the VBA code?

How can I get back to only showing one record for each donor?

TIA

By the sounds of your results it may by your join check your query.  other than that I will like to see a snap shot of what you have done to try and dig deeper into the problem.

Snip and sketch the VBA code??  All of it?  Sorry, more of a newbie than perhaps you thought.

Could upload it to a gist or pastebin and share the link if it's a large amount of code that you're happy to share.
