Its one of the easiest pieces of coding you will ever do. Just go to after update of the item (or whichever suitable alternative) and simply enter
Me.Refresh

Due to its simplicity, I'd always go with the code. If that doesn't work, do Me.Requery. I never seem to get the hang of which one but no harm done either way

There's a video around here somewhere that explains the difference but I'm on the mobile - where Multi tasking is a punishable offence :)
