Parameter Property

In your query, let's say your parameter looks like this: myYear: [Enter the year:]. myYear is the alias (the name) for your parameter. Assuming your form is based on the query, put an unbound textbox at the top of your form. On the Property Sheet of that textbox, put this in the Default Value: =[myYear] & " Bird List". This should work. However, anyone could type in any year & which would make the title invalid. You should probably get your date for the title from the DateSeen field in your form (or subform).

Thank you for your reply Maggie. I am not sure how you get the myYear in the parameter that you listed - "myYear: [Enter the year:]" I have attached my query and am not sure how to put something in front of [Enter the Year]. I am relatively new to programming so any advice would be great.

I am completely lost. This is a new thread started based on a previous thread so we don't actually know what is going on. What was the original post?

Kevin  I believe this was in response to this POST

Maggie   I've noticed your response disconnected in a couple other recent posts.  Please use the "Blue"
Post Your Reply to respond to someone's question.  It keeps the responses together.
DON'T use the "Yellow" Start a NEW Conversation box - Unless you are starting your own new topic.
