Access Report Data Missing
Joshua Rivera

Hello,

I'm having issues pulling the full set of Data from my Form when any of the Combo Boxes are missing values (or a value was not selected).

In order to get all my Form data to present I need to complete each ComboBox with a value or the Data will not populate in my report.

If all my Combo Boxes have a Value then the report will generate just fine, regardless of the other text fields being populated.

I've tried running the Query with the Criteria "Is Null" for the fields related to combo boxes, but that does not seem to work.

Thank you for your help.

What are these combo boxes? Are they relational combo boxes? If so, how are the joins setup in the query? You may need to change the join to include all records from one table and only matching from the other. If you have it on the default both sides must match, that could be causing your issue.

These combo boxes store: Contact Information (First Name, Last Name, Company Name etc.)
Another Combo box stores Types of Liability Accidents (Slip and Fall, Motor Vehicle Accident).
If there is no selection then the report does not generate with the records.

See image for reference:

I don't have them structured as relational boxes.

I'd be willing to bet it has to do with your joins or some criteria hidden in those queries.

Hey Adam,

You were right, thank you. It had to do with the Joins. Thank you!
