Have you tried it with a query to see if it works?

You can then change the Query to SQL view and have a look at what the SQL is and that is what you are wanting to use in your VBA code.

Then you can just follow the video and use the after update to filter the textbox that you have chosen.

Are you filtering a continuous form like in the video and you just want to find similar items?

Have you seen the recent tip on searching, might be of some use.
