Parameter Query CrossTab
Jeffrey Norment

Trying to force Access to create a report similar to an Excel spreadsht currently used (image attached). The closest I have come is using a crosstab query (image attached). The crosstab is based on a query that uses pay period end date as a parameter prompt. In the crosstab the parameter is defined. The crosstab query is used to create a report. When the report is opened it prompts the user 2x for the date. Once is ok, >1 is a nonstarter. Suggestions?

Hi Jeffrey
Without seeing the query I am only guessing. If you have a second table in your query check the link to see if might cause the
input to be requested twice. John

qryTimeSheetData has the parameter statement. qryTimeShtCrossTab query is based on qryTimeSheetData and declares the the parameter used in qryTimeSheetData. I created a report using qryTimeShtCrossTab, but the parameter request occurs twice when the report opens.
