There are several ways, but I usually have a Login form where I use a combo box on the Login Form to pick up the User ID when the user logs in. I often use a TempVar to place that ID (hidden if desired) on the main form). You could, with VBA or a filter to limit the user to only records that he/she entered, provided you put the userid in the record for the person who entered the record. This involves several steps but take your time and work though them. HTH
