Error Invalid use of property

Hi Guys. I'm setting a button visibility based on User Group. User Group is stored in an unbound text box called (Surprise!) Text_UserGroupID.

<<<<< Set Edit Entry Button Visibility >>>>>
If Text_UserGroupID = 1 Then Button_Go.Visible

This is entered on Form Load and the error occurs when I compile. Text_UserGroupID is highlighted

- Confirmed Spelling
- Tried one of the other text boxes on the form, same problem
- Tried Decompile and Recompile
- Tried C&R
- Googling came up with a load of generic help, nothing related to this
- Microsoft advise to check for read only etc. Since both the text box and the Button_Go are copied from a working sheet, i tried toggling Allow edits/additions/deletions etc to yes. Not fixed
- Also tried moving the line of code to the onclick event of the button but again, same error

Not sure what else to try. Any ideas? Many Thanks

You need to explicitly declare the Boolean value of the Visible property (True/False). `If Text_UserGroupID = 1 Then Button_Go.Visible = True Else Button_Go.Visible = False End If`
