Null list

I have a query that contains a checkingT and a memberT. I am looking to create a result of all members who have paid dues and also a list of those that have not. I have successfully created the list of paid dues however since those members who have not are not listed in the checking account there for i can only see members paid. Is there way to get the query to list all members with corresponding members that have not? See attachments

Consider using criteria of

Field: Current (or whatever name you want the name- you may need to add this field to your table too)
Table:
Criteria: Year([ChkDate]) = Year(Date())

This will return only records with a check date which is in the current year.  This will not catch all records of up to date dues, if the member paid (maybe extra) in a previous year.

Another query to consider for catching unpaid (or those with balances) is sorting, based on your [RunningBalance].  A query for negative balance might help you.

Alan go back to Access Expert 1 Lesson 3.
It appears that you need to change your join type to a left join.

BACKUP YOUR DATA
Then - Copy the query you use to a new one.  Then you can play with the original copy to make sure you are getting the data you want. Before you mess with a working copy.

That way if you don't get the results you want or you goof up something in the process you can delete the query and rename the copy to the originals name.
