I am trying to follow this lessen and set up the LetterF. When I do, the LetterID field in the form is designated as Text and it won't let me change the LetterID. The LetterID field in LetterT

I sent that too early. The LetterID field in the LetterT is set to autonumber. Why is the field Text in the form and why can't I change the LetterT record number in the form as it can be changed in the example. Thanks for your help.

Now it seems to be working. All I did was shut down overnight and start it up this morning.
