I have two tables. One is a list of manufacturers and the second is a list of model numbers  A manufacturer can have multiple model numbers.  I'm struggling to create a Form where I can add a new model number to an existing Manufacturer.  I have a sub form the shows the selected Manufacturer And ManufacturerID in the header and the list of existing Models. As soon as I place the curser in the new model field the ManufactureID in the header clears and I can't enter a new model Number.   In the table I could just enter the Manufacturer and the new model number.  Ideally there would be a place where the selected ManufacturerID is auto filled and I could simply ad a new model number the Save to record to the Model number table. MAybe I can create a control button with some VBA that captures the ManufacturerID then asks for the new model number then commits both to the ModelNumber table?
