Split Form in Navigation Pane
Alan Higgins

I am trying to get a split form to display fully in a Navigation pane. The top part of the form displays however the bottom does not. I can use a form/ sub form option but it doesn't function like a split form.

Usually best not to use a Split form, it can't be controlled as easily as your own made one.
Depending if you want to put the work in though.

I'm trying to sync a subform with the mainform and its not displaying all the data in the subform like a split form would. when i link the master and child fields in the form properties, i only get one entry. I need to see everything and be able to scroll through the master form while the subform is linked to the cooresponding row. Hopefully that makes sense.

I have been trying to get split forms to behave properly for years.  No luck.  Finally followed Richard's advice.  I do not use any more.

Alan - Subforms are the way to go. Have you set your sub form to continuous?

Yes, subform works and set to continuous and shows the data i am looking for however i would like the form and subform to be sync so if i am on a record on the form that same record in the subform will be selected. If i apply criteria at the query level on the key it will work but i only see one record on my subform, would to see all records  and be able to cycle through using the mainform just as it does on a split form.
