thanks for your quick response. I had watched that video but it did not cover what I am looking for. I want a chart that I can alter by picking different filters with listboxes and the chart changes accordingly.

I just purchased Expert 31 but that also just covered the "normal" charts where you cannot alter the filter. I know it can be done, but I just don't know how :-).

Lots of different videos cover filtering records - not necessarily with charts, but the concepts are the same whether you apply them to charts or list boxes or even just records in a form. Start with Filter Records

Hi, thanks for the reply, but that did not solve the problem. I need to find a way to connect the combobox to the chart so the chart will automatically update when some other record is chosen in the box.
I don't want to take up more of your time. I will just continue the course, the answer will show up at some point, I am sure.
